Property valuation in Poland

Real estate appraisal is the process of developing an opinion of value for real property. This mostly applies to the market value of the property.

Appraisal reports are prepared for purposes such as  mortgage loans, taxation,  divorces and so on. Valuation report may be preapered to establish a sale price for a property.

Valuation of real estate in Poland may be performed exclusively by professional appraiser. The opinion prepared by certified appraiser is called valuation survey. In  the legal act  called „Ustawa o gospodarce nieruchomościami” were defined methods of valuation used in Poland.
